Acquisitions.
The catalogue is short by design. Each object is released in a small numbered edition. Members are admitted to the catalogue first; inquiries from non-members are received and answered, when possible.
Sable Inkwell.
A weighted inkwell with an interior lip designed to wipe a steel nib without sound. The lid lifts on a hidden pivot and rests open at twenty-eight degrees.
Brass Compass.
A pocket compass with a hand-engraved card and a damped jewel pivot. The case opens against a faint, deliberate resistance.
Bone Tooling Set.
Three folding bones for bookbinding: one creasing, one scoring, one shaping. Each is shaped against the maker's hand and rolled to a glassy polish.
Vellum-Bound Quarto.
The annual quarto from Garrick Hall. Set entirely by hand in 12 pt Caslon Old Face, printed letterpress on a Vandercook proof press, bound in undyed vellum.
Iron Lantern.
A lantern forged from a single bar of iron, with a four-pane glass cage blown at Tidemark. The base accepts a single beeswax candle of 28 mm diameter.
Mortar & Pestle.
A mortar carved from a single block of slate, with a matching pestle shaped to the inside curve. The interior is left lightly tooled to bind the working surface.
